To say " please" and "thank you",
Yet these riches can bring
Nice friends who reaaly like you.
These words, when said sincerely-
"Excuse me" and "I'm sorry"-
Are expressions of courtesy
That heal anger so easily.
In a world full of strife
Let's be courteous and be polite
This will bring peace to a man's life
And to darkened sight give light.
Everyone should learn indeed
The pleasant word of courtesy.
In a way that's gentle and friendly
Let's make his life flow pleasantly.

My friend who is a priest instilled in me the importance of saying thank you all the time..
